The woman carried a small cage into the nice, cozy barn. It was nice and warm. She took the small cage up the spiral staircase to the loft of the barn. Glancing below, Marilyn gazed at the empty barn. It was good, she supposed. She turned around and went to a small table that held a large hamster cage. She set the one in her hand down and took out the neglected hamster named Lee. She set him into the larger one and gave him some food and water. "See you later!" she said, and headed off.

She entered the quaint barn, feeling the heat hit her in the face. With a smile painted upon her face, she climbed the creaky spiral stairs up to where the little hamster was camping out. When she got there, he was quietly dozing on his wheel in the cage. "Wake up, Lee! Someone adopted you," she said. She felt a little sad, for he was very cute. But she knew the person who would be taking him was nice, reliable, and trust worthy. Marilyn took up the cage and steadily went back down to the main level. They went into the cool outdoors and into the car. She placed the cage that held the slightly depressed hamster securely on the seat next to her. They drove off to the humane society so that the adopter could pick up the adoptee.
